The California Strategic Growth Council and the Department of Housing and Community Development are pleased to invite public comment on the Draft Round 6 Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities Program (AHSC) Guidelines, as well as on proposed amendments to the guidelines for AHSC Rounds 3, 4, and 5. Round 6 Draft Guidelines
This version of the Draft Round 6 AHSC Program Guidelines (the “Draft Guidelines) incorporates feedback on an earlier draft received at SGC’s November 17, 2020 public meeting. To understand the development of this updated draft and the changes proposed in it, please refer to the summary memo attached to the front of the Draft Guidelines document. Feedback received by the February 5, 2021 deadline will inform a final version of the draft guidelines, which SGC will post on its website on February 12 in advance of SGC’s public meeting on February 24.
Rounds 3, 4, and 5 Guidelines Amendments
SGC is has also posted updated versions of the Rounds 3, 4, and 5 AHSC Program Guidelines, amended to extend project deliverable timelines and broaden timing for eligible reimbursable costs. These changes respond to stakeholder feedback and provide flexibility for projects due to challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Please refer to the summary memos attached to the front of each document to assist with your understanding of the proposed changes.
