The California Biodiversity Council (CBC) will hold their 2017 Fall meeting on Nov 13-14 in the South San Francisco Bay Area region near Gilroy and Hollister. The theme for this meeting is Mainstreaming the Integrated Regional Conservation and Development Program. The Integrated Regional Conservation and Development (IRCAD) program is being coordinated by the Strategic Growth Council to pave the way to an improved regional planning approach that makes better use of existing conservation information. This program has been supported through resolutions of the Strategic Growth Council and the California Biodiversity Council. This meeting will review the program and document the significant process that has been made to advance this initiative.

A half-day plenary session will provide the opportunity to share key conservation initiatives across the State. Four significant conservation programs will be spotlighted with more detailed presentations. A field trip on the second day will be used to introduce regional projects and partners that are active in advancing an integrated conservation and development planning process. Please review the event flyer for more information.
