Announcement Released Today: AHSC Round 10 NOFA and Application Workbook

The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and application workbook are now open and available for Round 10 of the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) Program. Both documents can be found on the California Department of Housing and Community Development’s (HCD) AHSC webpage.  

The application period will remain open for 60 days until May 4 at 4 p.m. PT. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline. The AHSC Team will review applications between May and November 2026. 

The California Strategic Growth Council’s (SGC) AHSC webpage contains Round 10 Guidelines, supplemental application materials, instructional materials, the Round 10 timeline, and more. If you have any questions related to the Round 10 Guidelines, please submit them through the Round 10 Q&A form.

Factory-Built Housing Regional Pilot Program application now open 

Applications are now being accepted for Round 3 of SGC’s Factory-Built Housing Regional Pilot Program (FBH Program). Around $10 million is available for Catalyst and Planning Grants to grow regional capacity for factory-built housing.  

The FBH Program makes strategic investments in innovative models for regional collaboration, planning, and implementation that can be adapted and scaled across the state.  

Applications are being accepted until May 5.
