Announced in the California Budget Act of 2022 (AB-179), the California Agricultural Land Equity Task Force (Task Force) is an independent body that will develop recommendations to equitably increase access to agricultural land for food production and traditional tribal agricultural uses.
The Task Force welcomes public comment and written communication from the public. Please review our guidelines to learn how.

Access & Accessibility
The California Strategic Growth Council will host a hybrid meeting, with in-person and remote participation options. Both options will have opportunities for public comment. The Council remains steadfast in its goals to promote transparency and public participation. To do so, the Council has arranged multiple options to listen, view, and/or comment during the Council Meeting.
