In light of California’s projected budget shortfall, the Governor’s January State Budget Proposal proposes to cancel funding for Round 2 of the Regional Climate Collaboratives (RCC) Program. As a result, Strategic Growth Council staff must pause the timeline for RCC Round 2 awards. We understand this may be disappointing news for RCC Round 2 Applicants and apologize for this significant disruption.
As soon as possible, SGC staff will update Round 2 Applicants on whether funding is restored during the May Revise of the State Budget later this year and will aim to make awards as soon as possible if funding is restored.
