Implementation Grants – Grants of $1 million to $10 million (six-year grant term)

TCC Round 2 Accepting Applications

The TCC Round 2 application period opened on May 29, 2026, and will be accepting applications until September 30, 2026. Approximately $98.4 million available in funding for three (3) TCC grant types.

The TCC program empowers and prioritizes California’s most disadvantaged communities to choose their own strategies that achieve major environmental, health, and economic benefits while reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Technical Assistance

Application Technical Assistance (TA) is available during the application period with priority given to Tribal applicants for both TCC and CRC. TCC will also prioritize applicants with Project Areas in disadvantaged unincorporated communities for Application TA. If you are interested in receiving Application TA, please complete the Application Technical Assistance Request Form no later than July 31, 2026. SGC will connect applicants to the Application TA Provider on a rolling basis. SGC will have discretion to make final decisions on which applicants receive Application TA. Completion of the Technical Assistance Request Form does not guarantee that an applicant will receive TA, and receiving TA does not guarantee that an application will be awarded.

SGC will provide public resources available to all applicants to assist with the application process. These resources will be available on the CRC Application webpage and TCC Round 6 webpage. Each program is providing recorded webinars, application materials, and Office Hours on their respective webpages.
