Application Technical Assistance

Application Technical Assistance (Application TA) is available during the application period for eligible applicants. Applicants can request Application TA by completing the Technical Assistance Request Form. TCC will prioritize Tribal applicants and applicants with Project Areas in disadvantaged unincorporated communities for Application TA. CRC will prioritize Tribal applicants. Application TA may be available for additional applicants on a case-by-case basis.

SGC staff recommend completing the Request Form as soon as possible to maximize TA service time. Our staff will connect applicants to the TA provider on a rolling basis. The Request Form will close on July 31, 2026. SGC will have discretion to make final decisions on which applicants receive Application TA. Completion of the Request Form does not guarantee that an applicant will receive TA. Receiving TA does not guarantee that an application will be awarded a grant.

The TCC and CRC programs will soon offer expanded online resources to better support the application process. SGC staff will provide supplemental resources and templates available to all applicants. All applicants will have access to pre-recorded videos covering topics such as how to fill out work plan and budget spreadsheets and an overview of the application process.

Prospective applicants can submit questions via email to TCC@sgc.ca.gov and/or CRC@sgc.ca.gov
