Announcement Deadline Extended: Wildfire Resiliency and Recovery Planning Grant Program

In light of the evolving COVID-19 situation, we are working on a plan to extend the deadline to submit applications for the Wildfire Resiliency and Recovery Planning Grants. We are currently revising the program’s timeline, based in part on continuing guidance regarding social interactions, as well as the California Strategic Growth Council's (SGC) public meeting schedule (the Council approves the program’s grant awards). Although SGC and the Governor's office of Planning and Research (OPR) have not yet confirmed the new submission deadline, we will provide a minimum three week extension to the original March 18 deadline.

Once SGC and OPR have established a revised submission deadline, we will send announcements to our email lists and staff will individually email all applicants who have started applications on the grants application platform.

In the meantime, we will continue to answer your questions and remain available to provide you with updates and information. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we respond to these developing circumstances.
