The California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (OPR) seeks a motivated and proactive team player to provide organizational support to OPR’s Director. This Special Assistant plays a plays a vital role in supporting and coordinating a wide range of high-level communications and executive and administrative support related tasks, and interacts with a variety of public and private entities throughout the state of California. OPR is the State’s comprehensive planning agency – a dynamic team that studies future research and planning needs, fosters goal-driven collaboration, and delivers guidance to state partners and local communities, with a focus on land use and community development, climate risk and resilience, and high road economic development.
