The California Strategic Growth Council (SGC) and the Department of Conservation (DOC) are pleased to announce the release of a Technical Assistance Request for Proposals (RFP) for a qualified contractor to provide targeted outreach, education, and technical support to selected technical assistance (TA) recipients.
The technical assistance provider will support the mission of the Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation Program by engaging with key stakeholders--land trusts, tribal entities, nonprofits, landowners, farmers and ranchers, and others--in under-represented and disadvantaged communities. The TA provider will explore local opportunities and constraints, assess needs and resources, and help TA recipients develop viable projects and submit applications for SALC acquisition and capacity grants.
