TCC Stories of Transformation
Celebrating Transformative Climate Communities
People often describe Transformative Climate Communities’ integrated, community-driven, place-based investment approach as “catalytic.” The stories and reports on this page from TCC grantees will help you understand why.
TCC: “When we work together, we win together.”
Transformative Climate Communities “perfectly embodies” that motto according California State Senator Leyva, whose district includes Ontario – a TCC Round 1 Implementation Grantee.
Meet TCC’s Implementation Grantees
SGC awarded over $230 million in the first three rounds of TCC, supporting eight implementation grants in communities most affected by pollution and poverty. These funds, combined with ongoing technical assistance, are enabling these California communities to collaboratively design and implement their own goals, strategies, and projects to achieve major environmental, health, and economic benefits.
