Announcement SGC Seeks Technical Assistance Providers for Regional Climate Collaboratives

The Strategic Growth Council (SGC) is pleased to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking technical assistance (TA) providers to provide direct application assistance and capacity building support to applicants to rounds 1 and 2 the Regional Climate Collaboratives Program (RCC).

The purpose of the TA is to support eligible applicants from under-resourced communities prepare and submit competitive applications. The RFP describes a particular focus on outreaching to and assisting unincorporated communities, rural communities, community-based organizations, and California Native American Tribes apply to the program. The TA will help TA recipients understand and meet program requirements, form partnerships, conduct collective visioning, and develop viable projects. The deadline to submit proposals is Tuesday, April 5, 2022, by 5:00 p.m. PST.

To learn more about this RFP, join SGC’s informational webinar on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, 1:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. PST. Please submit questions about the RFP in advance of the webinar by emailing them to TA@sgc.ca.gov on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022. If time permits, SGC staff will also respond to questions asked during the webinar, however it is preferred to receive questions in advance.
